Mohsen Amini, from Glasgow and has always played traditional music from an early age. Mairi Campbell, who has helped support him more than anyone with his passion, introduced him to the Concertina and music in general.

He developed his musical ability through Comhaltas, a worldwide organization promoting Irish music, at St James’ the Great Branch in Pollok founded by the late Rory Campbell.

Mohsen currently is in his first year studying a Masters in Chemical Engineering at the University of Strathclyde in Glasgow.

Currently is involved in two projects, Muran and Rúbik, a trio from Glasgow and Northern Ireland, and can regularly be found playing around the flourishing music scene in Glasgow!
